Mechanic Electrician (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

POSITION SUMMARY: 

Set-up and maintain production equipment to ensure production lines are running efficiently and in accordance to the production schedule by performing the following duties:

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:

·        Listen for line calls and respond in a timely manner.

·        Monitor repairs and ensure equipment is running correctly.

·        Ensure equipment is repaired in a timely manner and all guards are replaced once repair is finished.

·        Assist with equiment tear down to prepare for CIP.

·        Inspect equipment to make sure it is free of defects and in place for proper cleaning.

·        Setup equipment to ensure proper sizing for jars and labels and make adjustments as needed.

·        Follow PM order and the attachments in a timely manner.

·        Enter responding data into CMMS to monitor and track PM.

·        Perform maintenance work during plant shut down.

·        Report food safety & quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.

·       Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or GED & previous maintenance experience.

  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment (bump cap, hair net, ear plugs, beard net (if applicable), Kevlar gloves, safety glasses and leather skid resistant work shoes/boots.

  • Ability to apply basic computer and communication skills, math functions, and reasoning.

  • Ability to use hand tools.

  • Mechanically inclinded with experience in hydrolic and phenomic.

  • Electrically inclined with experience in VFD.

  • LO/TO certified.          

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL EFFORT:

·        Constant exposure to extreme loud noises.

·        Constant standing and moving by foot.

·        Constant exposure to extreme hot/cold (non-weather) environment.

·        Constant work in high places and near moving mechanical parts.

·        Frequent lifting/carrying <50 pounds, reaching and use of fingers.

·        Frequent reaching/pulling/bending/climbing stairs/stooping/kneeling/bending.

·        Occasionally lifting >50 pounds.

·        Potential exposure to caustic chemicals.
