Encore Glass is a distributor of wine bottles and provides exceptional service to our customers. Located in Fairfield, CA we are seeking an individual with a passion for analysis and data entry to optimize and support our production and planning process - You enjoy being “in the data!”
This is an entry level position and requires an extensive amount of data entry.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• With Purchasing/ Planning team, responsible for developing, issuing, and executing 12-month rolling forecast for China partner manufacturers. The PPS will input, issue, and update purchase orders that procure manufacturer production capacity.
• Daily communication of manufacturing issues that impact the completion of scheduled production. Develop and deploy weekly summary format to track and measure manufacturer performance to plan and make recommendations to address deviations from plan.
• With Demand Planner, optimize production capacity to accommodate bulk, content, and print-on-line customer orders to maintain service levels, meet customer requirements, and mitigate costs.
• With Procurement Agent and Demand Planner, review customer orders to determine preferred manufacturer (North American, China).
• Maintain, develop, and implement metrics and analytics to support the business requirements.
Foster and cultivate collaboration between sales, customer service, and operations to provide best-in-industry customer service.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• College degree in related field
• Some relatable experience (summer internship) preferred, but not necessary
• Demonstrate advanced Excel skills including database connections, extended formulas, and V-lookups.
• Bilingual (Chinese and/ or Japanese) +, but certainly not required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule (communicate directly with China manufacturers)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A sense of humor
