Customer Service Representative
Encore Glass is a distributor of wine bottles and provides exceptional service to our customers. Located in Fairfield, CA we are seeking a sales driven Customer Service Representative who loves to make cold calls and generate new business!
As a Customer Service Representative you will work with outside sales and other members of the commercial team to grow existing customers, create new customers and meet all customer expectations in terms of service, delivery of ware and customer communication.
This is position reports to our Customer Service Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information in a timely manner.
• Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions.
• Recommend alternate products based on cost, availability or specification.
• Accurately process customer transactions such as orders, RMA’s, OA’s etc.
• Obtain accurate information from vendors regarding availability.
• Create monthly status reports for customer review and maintain visibility of open OA balances and box inventories.
• Proactively recommend items needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• 3 plus years of Customer Service or Inside Sales experience – in the wine/glass industry ideal
• BA/BS preferred
• Excellent telephone etiquette and listening skills; verbal and written communication skills; proven organizational skills; and Intermediate MS Office skills
• Excellent and advanced written communication skills, including ability to create original correspondence for responding to complex written complaints and issues
• Critical thinking skills - process of actively and skillfully conceptualizing, applying, analyzing, synthesizing, and/or evaluating information gathered from, or generated by, observation, experience, reflection, reasoning, or communication, as a guide to identify root causes of customer complaints and research and respond accordingly with a customer centric lens.
