Drew Family Cellars is looking for a full time assistant in the winery and vineyard.
We are an Estate Winery located on the Mendocino Coast in Elk, California
Responsibilities:
-Work alongside winemaker in all facets of winery and vineyard work.
-Perform all methods of cellar work including but not limited to sanitation, operating crusher, press, pumps, filters, forklift driving, barrel work, etc.
-Monitor fermentations
-Basic lab procedures
-Estate vineyard work
-Monitor leased and contract vineyards
-Winery inventory
-occasional sales work
Qualifications:
-Must be trustworthy and dependable
-Fork lift and tractor driving a plus
-Strong organization and communication skills
-Valid drivers license and able to lift 50 pounds
-Basic understanding of grape growing
-2 years cellar and/or vineyard experience required
