TASTING HOUSE SPECIALIST

 

Argyle continues its history of rehabilitating the spaces it inhabits by converting the cellars and barrel room of the historic Argyle Winery in Dundee into a Tasting House that will be one of a kind in Oregon.  Expected to open in August 2015, the new ‘House will feature a variety of innovative, indoor and outdoor settings to frame the ‘Argyle Conversation’ to enhance our guests’ appreciation for our unique story.

 

Argyle is looking to grow our Hospitality Team to help bring the new space to life.  The Argyle Tasting House will be open 11 AM to 5 PM daily, with exception of some major holidays.

 

We are looking for dynamic individuals who have a passion for hospitality and enjoy fine wine & food. Prospective candidates must have the ability to multitask and be comfortable working in a team environment, with good humor. Welcoming our guests with warmth, hospitality, and knowledge, the optimal applicant should always look to create an inviting tasting environment. We are looking for individuals who will be Advocates for our Valley and represent Argyle wines with style and grace.

·         We will provide extensive education and training to build upon your already-solid wine knowledge foundation.  

·         Fine wine & restaurant service experience is highly valued and working weekends is a must.

·         The position will require working on your feet for extended periods of time and the ability to lift upwards of 50lbs.

·         Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

·         We will be hiring full time and part time specialists.

·         Salary and benefits packages will be amongst the best offered in the Valley today
