We are looking for “hospitality stars” to join our amazing Guest Services team at Erath Winery. We have multiple seasonal, part time positions available. If you are ready to be our brand ambassador and provide our guests with remarkable wine experiences, while having a whole lot of fun, we’re looking for you!
Essential Functions:
• Work in the wine shop, ringing purchases, and assisting customers
• Conduct educational tastings and host/support the execution of events for guests of the winery
• Promote the wine club by building and retaining customers
• Provide winery information and assistance in person and over the telephone
• Assist with shipping of retail wines and merchandise
• Participate in stocking, inventory management, and general retail operations as needed
Availability Requirements:
Must be able to meet the current availability requirements as stated in the following:
• Available for weekends and required events. Additional weekday availability preferred.
Physical Requirements:
• Able to lift and carry up to 35-50 pounds
• Stand for extended periods of time
• This is a physically demanding job, which requires lifting, pushing/pulling, climbing, stooping/bending, twisting/turning, reaching, and repetitive motions.
• Working outdoors in inclement weather
Qualifications:
• 2 years of customer service and/or sales experience required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to work as part of a team.
• The ability to speak comfortably and audibly in front of groups of people.
• Interest /knowledge of wine industry.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have basic typing and computer skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be willing and able to work in all weather conditions
• Must be able to acquire have valid Food Handler and OLCC Server Permit’s
• History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct, as well as fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies.
