The Role
We have an opening in our Le Clos team for a Concourse Manager, who will be responsible for managing and developing the Le Clos retail business in order to achieve financial budgets and to make Le Clos the preferred destinations for retail liquor at Dubai International Airport for all customers. Overall responsibility to ensure
the smooth and profitable running of the Le Clos presence in the airport concourse throughout the 24 hour a day 7 days a week cycle of the outlets.
Skills Required
The successful applicant will need to demonstrate an enthusiasm for Retail Management, at least 5 years managing a large multi-national team in a multi – site retail experience with successful retailer. Must have excellent people management skills and flexible and adaptable as Le Clos is open 24/7 operations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and motivate a high quality team by developing and implementing performance objectives, mentoring and ensuring that individual performance development plans are achieved
· Optimize the retail portfolio to deliver customer satisfaction whilst satisfying margin considerations and principal satisfaction
· Liaise with Le Clos Terminal Manager and Le Clos General Manager on a regular basis in order to identify and quantify opportunities for revenue growth
· Contribute in developing marketing plans and ensure effective implementation to deliver competitive advantage leading to increased market share
· Achieve and maximize budgeted sales by improving standards in shop layout, merchandising, promotion effectiveness and customer service standards thereby delivering higher numbers of customer visits and increased average spend in shops
· Ensure that the Store Teams are trained to handle the whole customer purchasing life cycle from assisting with wine choices to completing transactions and deliveries.
· Completing administrative tasks and running reports through computer programs such as Excel, PowerPoint Microsoft Outlook and MRMS.
· Looking after and reporting on all aspects of the store performance to the Le Clos Terminal Manager and Le Clos Operations Manager
