QUICK RUNDOWN: We are hiring for the busy holiday season and in some of our growing territories. We are looking for Full Time and Part Time staff, IMMEDIATELY, to help in all areas of sales and accounts. While we are mainly looking for part time staff, we are always looking for great full time staff and will consider all applications.
WHO WE ARE: We (Blue Sky Distributing) are a family owned company that started in 2012 with a full portfolio of craft wine and spirits. We aim to progress the industry, solve problems, and become a new face for craft wine and spirits. All of our spirits are Grain to Glass (Google it), and our wines come from all over the world and are priced everywhere between $4 and $40. Our goal is to keep building our portfolio around every price point, every region, and every craft. JOB DUTIES: The duties of the position will vary dependent on applicant skill, current needs, and time of the year but may include specific duties within the following areas: Account/Customer Maintenance (scheduled visits, merchandising, events, goodwill programs), New Account Development, and Office Support (brand research, prospect research, account notes). You will work closely in teams with other Blue Sky staff members.
WHO/WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: This position is specifically designed as a 2nd PT job or someone looking for 10-30 hours per week. There are MANY opportunities for growth within the company and other full-time positions will become available after an introductory period of employment or for the right candidate.
This is a sales based position and we are looking for bona-fide sales people, but that doesn’t mean you must have wine or spirits sales experience. Those without sales experience are still welcomed to apply, but we ask that you provide a brief explanation of why/how sales is your thing. We train all candidates, either way.
COMP & CUSTOMER STRUCTURE: The perfect candidate fits the position in one of two ways. 1) They are looking for a 2nd job to supplement income, at around 10-30 hours per week or 2) Someone looking to crack into the industry, start as a part-time employee, and work into a full-time position with Blue Sky. You will be an employee of Blue Sky and paid through some combination of hourly, assignment based, commission, and/or bonus structure, which will be outlined in greater detail during the interview process.
