Mission of the Sales Distribution Finance Associate: 
The Distribution Finance Associate is responsible for inventory and allocation management and logistics for the Domaine Serene external sales team to ensure the balance of demand and supply, in order to fulfill customer orders and maintain appropriate inventory levels. This position is also responsible for managing the Federal and state compliance function. 

Core Position Expectations:
•  Order Management
o Ensure timely and accurate receipt, acknowledgment and communication with the customer, the sales team, and the outside warehouse.
o Research and preparation of all required customs paperwork.
•  Logistics Management
o Manage the relationship between Domaine Serene and the outside warehouse.
o Manage the new distributor setup process (state filing, appointment letters, product spec information, etc.).
o Manage the global logistics process for exportation
•  Compliance 
o Ensure that necessary licenses and permits are maintained.
o Determine when new licenses and permits are needed.
o Prepare timely and accurate sales tax filings.
o Manage the label approval process at the federal and state level.
•  Sales Reporting & Analysis
o Provide sales reports and analysis for the Distribution Team that includes the following: depletions, flash reporting, revenues/sales projections, trend reports, and allocation reporting. 
o Develop and maintain run-off models for core products.
o Develop and maintain presentation templates
•  Distribution Budgeting, Forecasting and Strategic Planning
o Create and manage the process and timeline for the Distribution Channel
o Create and manage the templates for the Distribution Channel
o Support the team with reports, presentation templates, insight, and assist in project execution
•  Bill-Back Process
o Manage the approval and routing process with the Distribution and Accounting teams.
•  Inventory & Allocations Management
o Lead the annual allocation process for the Distribution channel.
o Maintain the Distribution channel allocations throughout the year.
o Month end inventory reconciliation

Education: 
•  BS/BA in Business Administration, or related field, or the equivalent combination of education and/or 3-5 years’ experience is required.

•  Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 

Experience: 
•  Minimum 3-5 years professional accounting/finance experience.
•  Experience in the wine industry strongly preferred.
•  Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, with particular emphasis on Excel.
