Tasting Room Associate (Wine Jobs: Wine Retail & Sommelier)

Are you an outgoing and enthusiastic person?  Chateau Bianca Winery has an immediate opening for a part-time Tasting Room Associate.  A sales background is strongly desired and an OLCC servers permit is required or have the ability to obtain one.  Experience with POS & technology/software systems is also a plus.  MS Office and Outlook experience is needed.  Must be 21 years of age.

 

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

You will greet Tasting Room visitors, present our wines, administer wine tastings, conduct wine and wine club sales, daily closing reconciliations, restocking (able to lift 50 lbs required), database entry, and maintain organization and cleanliness of the Tasting Room.  You may be called upon to work at on-site and off- site special events.

 

 

 

Qualifications:

 

Retail sales background, with a preference for wine/restaurant or hospitality industry experience.  Must be dependable, have great verbal and written communication skills.  You will need to be a team player and also be able to work independently.  Be customer service oriented with a willingness to learn about our wines and the wine industry.

 

Hourly wage plus commission
