Gathering Harvests is a growing wine distributor in CT. Specializing in boutique and small production wineries in California, Italy, Spain, Chile, Argentina & South Africa. We seek dynamic, passionate sales people to fill positions as area managers that are enthusiastic, motivated and organized for both restaurant & retail accounts.

Position Profile:
Identify & pursue new accounts and grow current accounts in agreed-upon territory exclusively. Plan & execute daily schedule of accounts.

Build relationships with decision-makers and provide positive customer service to customers.

Host work days with winery & wholesale representatives

Be prepared, punctual, professional, dependable & consistent

Initiate & participate in educational tastings, dinners and other wine events

Skills & Qualifications:
Energetic, positive, and to the point
Tenacious
Progressive sales experience
Demonstrated ability to build productive partnerships and collaborate with others
Strong organizational skills
Self-motivated, and able to work independently or with minimal supervision
 
A strong desire to grow & manage a territory 

Position Requirements:
Outside Sales
Current Account list preferred and considered a big plus.
Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, no DUIs, reliable transportation

A desire to be a 1099 – Independent Contractor.  BROKERS WELCOME. 

Commissioned sales. Total compensation based on experience. All levels considered. Day 1 graduated sales program & incentives
