The specialist will work on the marketing team and contribute to the overall success of the department by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities.
The position will require international and domestic travel. A dependable car is required. (Mileage is reimbursed)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Brand development for three established international wine barrel brands
- Execute marketing activities and strategies to maintain and elevate the brands
- Work collaboratively with global subsidiaries to meet marketing objectives
- Assist in planning, communicating and implementing marketing plans
- Manage brand marketing programs including: promotions, packaging, tradeshows, websites, customer events, advertising, product launches, sales materials, direct mail, PR, and media planning.
- Develop and track marketing budgets
- Write and edit copy for marketing collateral
- Contribute creative ideas and suggest new initiatives or areas of improvement
- Coordinate with other departments as needed to gather relevant information on marketing activities
Qualifications

- Proficient with computers and most software programs Required: Microsoft Office products; PC
- Demonstrate a considerate, friendly, and constructive attitude toward fellow employees
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong standard of written English
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written
- A strong initiative is required
- Ability to work under-pressure and to meet deadlines
- Ability to work flexibly and creatively within the organization
- Detail-oriented and ability to thrive in fast-paced work environment
- Should be a proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently. Need strong ability to set priorities, solve problems, and be resourceful under pressure.
- Current knowledge of advertising trends and developments
Requirements
A four-year Bachelor’s degree in a marketing, business, advertising, journalism or communications is necessary. A minimum of five years related experience is preferred. This is not an entry-level position. Three references required: previous manger, customer (internal or external) and a vendor who you have worked with.
