Unity Selections is a fine wine distributor and importer, servicing the top retailers and restaurants in Colorado. We specialize in small production wineries that are intensely attuned to their environments. The goal of Unity Selections is to assemble a portfolio of producers that represent a diverse, international range of wineries that emphasize biodynamic, organic or sustainable viticulture and winemaking.
We are seeking an individual with superior communications skills, wine knowledge, and professional salesmanship that will function in an entrepreneurial environment. The Colorado Springs position is both on and off-premise, partially established but includes ample growth potential by opening new accounts and expanding distribution. The Individual must able to work independently and consistently with the buyers in their territory, be extremely self motivated, and have fine wine knowledge as well as a passion for wine, and a “can-do” spirit.
Position requires sales presentations, phone follow-up, networking, presentation of a positive image for our company, and extensive public contact. REQUIREMENTS:
Position is full-time (40+ hours/week)
• 1-2 years wine sales experience, current relationships a plus
• Wine knowledge is essential
• Must be a self-starter, goal-oriented, a master at time management and committed to delivering superior customer service
• Must have reliable vehicle, valid drivers license, computer with internet access and cell phone.
• Must be available to work flexible hours, including some nights and weekends.
• Must live in the territory you will be working in and be familiar with the area.
• Must be at least 21 years old and able to lift 40lb
• Must be a US Citizen
DUTIES:
• Service and build sales at established retail and restaurant accounts
• Open new accounts, both on and off premise
• Work with suppliers, conduct restaurant and retail staff trainings, organize wine dinners and promotional events, conduct evening and weekend wine tasting.
Job candidate must be independent, driven to excel and have disciplined work ethic and the ability work with minimal daily supervision. We are looking for a type-A person who can aggressively open new business in an extremely professional manner.
Compensation is above average commission with bonus and potential for growth.
