We are a fast growing, fine wine distribution and import company. We are seeking enthusiastic and self-motivated Sales Representatives to assist in our growth in many areas in Ohio, including Cincinnati. We have a growing, dynamic portfolio of artisan wines from around the world.
Candidates must have excellent communication skills, a professional appearance and manner and follow-up skills. Effective planning and time management skills are essential but the hours are flexible. Working knowledge of the wine industry or previous sales experience is a plus. This is a commission based position with some expenses paid; immediate openings are available.
REQUIRED:
• High School Diploma/GED; College Degree preferred
• Must possess a dependable vehicle with current registration, a valid driver's license and appropriate vehicle insurance.
• Must have a clean driving record; be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
• Responsibilities may require employee to work hours before 8:00 AM and after 5:00 PM; some weekend and holiday work may be required.
• Strong written, verbal, persuasion and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize and to meet deadlines.
• Team player, energetic, self-starter, motivator.
• Exhibit a drive to continue his or her wine education.
• Goal oriented, focused and assertive individual who needs little direction or supervision.
• Outstanding organizational skills and highly motivated.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Generate sales and accounts for the Company.
• Schedule and conduct tastings with potential customers for the Company.
• Develop and maintain positive customer relations with new and existing customers.
• Maintain up-to-date accurate records of sales activity and contact lists; providing sales reports as required.
• Present self with integrity, professionalism and commitment to the responsibilities and policies of the Company.
SCHEDULE:
Sales Reps are encouraged to work on their own schedule as long as sales expectations met; hours are flexible.
COMPENSATION:
Sales Reps earn a higher than industry standard commission on sales with some expenses paid.
