InMarketing Services is launching a National Field Sales and Marketing Program for our newest Client! The Account Executive-Adult Beverage will support this Program by developing In-Store Sampling Opportunities with National Wine & Spirits Manufacturers and Distributers
 
The ideal candidate will share a passion for Account Management, New Business Acquisition and Stimulating Account Growth, be a Strong Relationship Builder and Strategic Partner, and have a solid background in Client/Customer Management and Business Development.

The Account Executive serves as the initial focal point in charge of all daily sales activities for the client-based marketing services and aligns daily activities to the company's strategic goals. Primary role is selling in-store sampling programs (events) to top CPG companies or (Customer Merchant Team).

The AE will be responsible for successfully developing and increasing in-store event volume and collaborating with retail client's merchandising management team to maximize sampling events by category. Results will be obtained through effective planning, influence building, and use of resources.

Duties & Responsibilities

Creates and Closing Opportunities
• Research and target prospects/opportunities, conduct interest building calls when applicable, and gain customer interest
• Qualify opportunities, develop winning proposals, and build business justification cases to expand sales
• Collaborate closely with the Sales and Account Services team on developing new value for our customers

Protecting Accounts
• Gather and monitor account intelligence, and document account plans and sales forecasts
• Cultivate and develop trusted advisor status with the client, and protect and expand accounts

Maintaining Accounts
• Craft agreements and formal documents in securing new business
• Successfully present reports to all necessary stakeholders to review and improve business impact

Qualifications

Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent job-related experience

Experience
2-5 years of work experience in Business Development, Client/Customer Relations and Account Management in the Adult Beverage/Wine & Spirits Industry

Skills & Competencies

 ·         Proven Track Record in Business Development and Account Management in the Adult Beverage Industry

 ·         Extensive Knowledge of State and Federal Guidelines concerning Adult Beverage Sampling and Distribution

 ·         Must be able to collaborate effectively to deliver on mutual client and retailer objectives

 ·         Strong Closer & Relationship Builder with both a "Hunter" and "Farmer” Mentality

 ·         Creative self-starter with strong organization, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

 ·         Ability to coordinate mutually agreed expectations of what is promised to the customer into measureable business results

 ·         Ability to use personal effectiveness to link relationships, processes, and business methodologies with revenue-producing activities

Tools/Software
Intermediate or advanced MS Office Suite skills

Travel Requirements
Travel up to 25%
