We're looking for energetic, motivated, self-starters to join our growing team. Our operation and vision is unique and our suppliers are craft and quality-driven with a story to tell. We think out-of-the-box, you should too!
The ideal candidate will be able to:
· Open new, and maintain current accounts within territory: restaurants, hotels, bars, wine bars, caterers, country clubs and retail accounts
· Communicate effectively to manager on account details, status, orders and tastings
· Utilize Google-based email, calendar and contact system, which can be accessed from any computer, laptop, mobile device or smart phone.
· Manage accounts with professionalism and regular visits. A car (suburbs) or other mode of transportation (city) will be necessary to visit accounts.
· Attend weekly sales call and monthly team meetings and supplier presentations/visits
· Schedule, attend and run tasting events
· Assist with current or new account sets/set-ups as needed
· Be a solution-finder, one who is not discouraged by objections or road blocks
· Exceed customer expectations
· Champion our causes: “Be A Locapour” and “Drink Upstream from the Herd”
Self-motivators and “go getters” will reap the most success in this role. We encourage our Beverage Peddlers to start part-time and grow into their full-time territory.
Prior sales experience a plus, but not necessary. Passion for wine and sales knowledge trump knowledge.
Candidate must be over 21 and able to lift 40lbs (case of wine)
