The Winebow Group a global leader of fine wine and spirits, with offices in New York, New Jersey, Boston, Philadelphia, Washington and Virginia has an exciting opportunity for a Chain Sales Consult in our Charlottesville, VA Market. 

JOB SUMMARY
To promote the use of The Winebow Group’s portfolio throughout regional markets specifically aimed at the retail chain industry.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Develops an effective marketing and sales strategic plan in order to maximize wine distribution within an established or growing customer base.
2. Develops broad base of support for The Winebow Group’s services by maintaining routine contact with key decision makers.
3. Places product on shelves or in displays for maximum exposure. Ensures product is in the proper location, rotates stock appropriately and pricing material is used (when applicable).
4. Provides timely educational programs, materials and services when deemed necessary.
5. Works with Regional Director and VP of Wine Supply to monitor sales growth and market penetration with the use of monthly reporting tools. 
6. Works, when necessary, with The Winebow Group’s accounting department to resolve any billing issues within their designated territory.
7. Responsible for communicating directly with The Winebow Group’s Customer Service department any specific ordering or shipping needs indicated by clients within their territory. 
8. Meets agreed upon goals and objectives effectively and in a timely manner.
9. Arrives at work, appointments, meetings, and all work-related functions on time and as 
scheduled.

OTHER FUNCTIONS
1. Attends meetings and functions.
2. Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

1. Two years marketing or sales experience preferred.
2. Chain retail sales experience preferred.
3. Wine knowledge preferred.
4. Demonstrated computer knowledge.
5. Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills.
