Heritage Wine and Liquor is looking for a full-time Wine Specialist to join our team in Centennial, CO.
Wine Specialist will be responsible for stocking product, helping customers with wine recommendations, and helping to educate other members of our team on all things wine.
The wine assistant should remain up-to-date on all wine information including regions, varietals, wine-making techniques (organic, sustainable, etc.) current trends, and help to disseminate this information to customers and other staff members.
Key Responsibilities:
· Maintain an organized and properly rotated wine section (shelves and case stacks) and storage spaces.
· Ensure that all products are priced properly.
· Ensure all wines are signed properly if on-sale.
· Ensure that all displays are stocked and organized
· Assist customers looking for wine and other products in the store
· Remain current on all wine-related information by attending tastings, taking notes, and asking questions.
Your Expertise:
· Have outstanding communication skills to be used to greet and serve customers and to communicate with management and partners.
· Be extremely patient to be able to deal with problematic customers in a proper manner.
· Able to work under stress in a small space. Ability to multi-task is a must.
· Familiar with using electronic point of sale systems and inventory systems.
· Any wine certifications are highly desired, but are not required
