Owera Vineyards is seeking a full-time Tasting Room & Café Manager for our Tasting Room and Café in Cazenovia, New York. The Tasting Room & Café Manager will oversee the daily operations of the tasting room and café and be responsible for scheduling, training and supervising the tasting room and café staff in a professional and ethical manner. The Manager will grow tasting room sales by managing and creating programs aimed at sales growth and will plan, coordinate and market promotional events at the winery.
Candidates must be professional, service-oriented leaders with strong organizational and time management skills. Must maintain a high level of customer service and be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Must have working knowledge of POS systems and MS Office applications as well as very strong mathematical skills.
A minimum of three years successful management experience in a hospitality environment;
winery, restaurant and/or hotel is required. Formal hospitality management training is preferred. Weekend and holiday availability is mandatory.
