Senior Accountant (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

Position Summary:

Under minimal supervision, responsible for completing moderately complex accounting activities related to the maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger in accordance with U.S. GAAP. Responsibilities include cash flow reporting as well as accounting, reporting, reconciliation, analysis and Fx reporting & forecasting.

Responsibilities:
• Perform general accounting responsibilities and general ledger maintenance in accordance with Finance Shared Services service level agreements and internal controls
• Analyze, create, review and post journal entries
• Perform general ledger account reconciliations
• Perform company close procedures including:
- Analyze monthly results and adjust as appropriate (including fringe allocations and excise taxes)
- Complete financial statement revaluations
- Record, analyze and review inter- and intra- company transactions
- Prepare monthly consolidation and elimination entries
- Complete analysis and review of operating company financial results, both foreign and domestic
- Perform additional review as needed to support the close
• Prepare monthly financial statement variation analysis
• Prepare monthly U.S. GAAP financial statements including, balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement
• Prepare top-side journal entries as required
• Prepare quarterly Fx Forecast
• Assist in the preparation of balance sheet and cash flow forecast as necessary
• Assist in the preparation of management reporting as applicable
• Complete and/or review external reporting and consolidated footnote disclosure reporting packages as applicable
• Assist with coordination and compilation of data for additional reporting and analysis as required, including US Tax Package
• Support the documentation, reporting and achievement of monthly accounting metrics as defined by the finance shared services dashboard
