Tasting Room and Hospitality Position (Wine Jobs: Wine Retail & Sommelier)

Madrigal Family Winery is a small family owned winery located in the Calistoga AVA, Napa Valley. We are producing premium, small-lot wines from our estate vineyard. We are seeking a part-time team member to add to our family. If you would describe yourself as a reliable and positive person, willing to do what it takes to ensure the job is done well, then we are interested in hearing from you.

This a part-time position and will consist of three days per week, at least one weekend day, 24 hours per week. Please do not apply if you are unable to fully commit to weekend hours.

Many hats are worn when you work for a small winery. We are looking for someone that can multi-task and prioritize responsibilities.

Responsibilities:
Prepare tasting room for guests
Deliver top-notch customer service to all guests and club members
Provide, excellent, personalized tours and tastings
Filling, cleaning and stocking
Demonstrates success in “soft-sell” brand focused retail sales environment
Demonstrates ability to achieve goals for customer growth and retention 
Demonstrates knowledge of successful referral patterns

Qualifications:
Must be 21 years of age
Self-driven and able to work in a fast paced environment
Tasting room, restaurant, hospitality or wine experience desired
Passionate about food and wine with a desire to continue education
Must be able to lift 45 lbs
