HR Coordinator (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

General summary:

BevMo! is seeking an experienced HR Coordinator to join our Human Resources team.  This role is responsible for supporting the Corporate and Store level payroll, administering all payroll processes.  This individual will be the first point of contact for employee HR, Benefits, and Payroll inquiries, and will provide broad support to the HR team.  The role will provide operational and administrative support to HR & Payroll operations as well as field HR.

HR Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • First point of contact for employee inquiries for HR and Benefits related question and escalations
  • Manage HR/Payroll voicemail box, and HR Support and Benefits email boxes
  • Manage Unemployment Claims process/responses and Employment Verifications
  • Audit benefit plan enrollments, update vendor and employee records as needed
  • Enable Employee self-service for new hires, reset access as needed
  • Manage employee file processes, including uploads to electronic files
  • Support benefits enrollments- Open Enrollment, New Hires, and Qualifying Life Events
  • Support the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) functions including data maintenance, validation, and cleanup; ad hoc reporting; and projects
  • Other duties as required

Payroll Responsibilities:

  • Support daily payroll department operations
  • Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
  • Execute audits of employees timecards
  • Process manual checks as needed
  • Manage the PayCard process
  • Provide backup support for wage garnishments
  • Support the process of the bi-weekly payroll accurately and timely
  • Assist with special projects in Payroll and HR technology processes
  • Point of contact for employee payroll questions
  • Create and distribute standardized reports and produce ad-hoc reports as needed

Requirements:

  • Experience with HR support, benefits administration, HRIS
  • 1-2 years of hands on payroll processing with multi-state jurisdictional payroll tax laws
  • Experience with Payroll, time keeping and HRIS software; preferably Kronos time-keeping and Ascentis payroll
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with managing and resolving issues with existing technologies
  • High attention to detail and customer service oriented
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Self-motivated and ability to work well within a fast paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid Excel skills, knowledge of pivot tables and v-lookups
  • Strong Analytical/Problem solving abilities
  • Willing to work overtime as needed
