Compliance Specialist
The Compliance Specialist is primarily responsible for compliance with all beverage alcohol laws and regulations by reviewing company advertising, providing advice to Sales and Marketing, and supervising the licensing, label registration, and price posting functions as well as conducting internal compliance audits and contributing to the achievement of the departmental mission.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Manage all Wholesale and DTC state licenses, permits and renewals

·         COLA submission for all brands with TTB and amendments as necessary

·         Process label revisions with Compli for Wholesale & DTC registrations as requested for each vintage

·         FDA Registrations for all bonds

·         Add Trade Names to Federal Basic Permits as needed

·         File Fictitious Business Names as needed

·         Process 702 (5120) Reporting for all Alternating Proprietors – monthly/quarterly/annually as required

·         Winegrower/Blenders Reports/Taxes - annually

·         File Federal and State Excise Taxes –bi monthly/monthly/quarterly/annually as required

·         CA Grape Crush Reports for each bond - annually

·         Communicate with outside Compliance firm, clients and agencies to obtain information and navigate compliance regulations

·         Review and approve all invoices from Compli for compliance services

·         Strong organizational skills with attention to detail is essential

·         Strong Microsoft Word & Excel skills

·         1 – 2 years’ experience preferred
