The Brooklyn Brewery is seeking a Social Media & Digital Marketing Intern to help drive marketing initiatives across the social and digital spheres. Responsibilities will include scheduling, reporting, analytics, writing, ideation, and more, as directed by the Copywriter & Digital Coordinator. The intern will gain valuable exposure to the fast-paced digital marketing strategies employed by one of the leading craft breweries in the world.
Primary duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting in promoting Brooklyn Brewery events, event posts, editorial content, social media scheduling, promotion and tracking across multiple Brooklyn Brewery platforms
- Aiding in reporting and analytics across The Brooklyn Brewery’s social platforms
- Brainstorming and soundboarding new ideas for social, web, and general promotion for the Brewery
- Aiding the Marketing Unit in other events, organization, donations, and potentially more
The ideal candidate will be:
- A college student or recent graduate above the age of 21
- Hard working, detail oriented, organized and schedule-driven
- Have a strong interest and/or prior experience in social media, content marketing, and digital marketing
- Possess a love for comedy, music, pop culture, the Internet, and of course, beer
- Be a strong writer with a passion for the written word
- Show an affinity for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Tumblr, Hootsuite, and appropriate reporting platforms; Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word; and Google Documents and Sheets.
- Located in or within commuting distance of New York City
The Social Media & Digital Marketing Intern will be compensated for ten hours of work per week in the form of competitive pay and course credit when applicable. Scheduling can be arranged around classes or other jobs, but should stick to a standard schedule.
