HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

The HR Assistant will provide support to the Human Resources Manager in developing, executing and managing all HR programs. The HR Assistant will ensure that all forms, transactions and activities are handled in a professional and timely manner and in accordance with established procedures. The HR Assistant will research and resolve employee inquiries and bring issues to a timely resolution.

Responsibilities:

  • Event Ambassador Program management: onboard new hires, maintain online timekeeping portal, update and maintain personnel tracker, train new EAs and managers on timekeeping system, troubleshoot login issues
  • Assist with the new hire onboarding process: Schedule calls with new hires to go over company  benefits, assist with new hire paperwork and field general new hire questions, create new employee personnel files, complete and maintain I-9 forms
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned: maintain and conduct with routine personnel file audits, assist with open enrollment for 401K, medical and dental, etc., and assist with ad-hoc projects
  • Payroll assistance: collect and compile hours worked for payroll processing, review and ensure accuracy of approved timesheets
  • Assist with the employee off-boarding process

  • Dependability – the individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance.

Skills:

  • 1 year of Human Resources experience required
  • Excellent PC skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Education:

  • Bachelor Degree required
