Wine Club and Winery Administrator (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

Become a team member of Chateau Élan Winery and Resort as we grow to one of the most prestigious and prominent wineries on the east coast. A qualified candidate will have a strong work ethic paired with equal enthusiasm for quality customer service. The position oversees all aspects of the Wine Club programs and events and will assist in implementing strategies to develop the Wine Club. 

Essential job duties include:

• Processing all phone, e-mail, and on-line orders
• Processing all regularly scheduled club shipments and daily orders
• Develop continuous improvement and work simplification measures in the handling of all member requests
• Foster relationships with current Wine Club member base through regular communication

Club Maintenance & Growth

• Actively promotes the sale of Wine Club and help develop tasting room staff to effectively sell Wine Clubs.
• Meet annual sales growth, recruitment and retention targets
• Identify opportunities for achieving increased profitability
• Develop and implement promotional efforts to achieve both of the above

Online wine sales and private labels

• Meet annual sales growth, develop the program and coordinate with the sales department
• Identify opportunities for achieving increased profitability
• Develop and implement promotional efforts to achieve both of the above

Administration

• Manages wine allocations to ensure sufficient inventory exists at fulfillment center
• Develop and maintain policies and best practices for the wine club

Other Duties

• Conducts VIP tour and tastings, as needed
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Must be customer focused and consistently able to maintain enthusiasm and project a positive company image.

• Excellent customer relation skills, written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure and make independent decisions.
• Strong organization, problem solving, multi-tasking and interpersonal skills required.
• Regular, reliable and punctual attendance.
• Job requires the ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule if needed including evenings, weekends and Open House weekends such as Memorial Day and Thanksgiving

Previous experience in wine club management preferred. Sales and/or managment in service focused organizations.
