Small Winery Sales and Operations (Wine Jobs: Wine Retail & Sommelier)

Small local winery is looking for a part time staff member to help run Tasting Room on Fridays and Saturdays and pour wine at the Farmers Market every Saturday. Should have a strong interest in wine and strong willingness to learn the process of making and creating wine and telling the story. The part time position could quickly turn into full time with the right person. Daily tasks will start out including sales and telling the wine story, social Media - Facebook, update website, building and executing a wine club, pouring wine at occasional events on weekdays and weekends. Long-term duties could roll into booking and marketing events in tasting room, identifying new tasting/pouring opportunities, delivering wine, Wholesale account management, package and mail wine orders, help make and manage wine. This is a very organic-type position where you will work closely with the winemaker to build a small business in the valley.
