Job Description
The Warehouse Supervisor is a member of the Winemaking Team. They will work under the supervision of the Production Manager and under the direction of the Cellar Master to perform a variety of duties associated with efficient management of the warehouses. Responsibilities include: operation of palletizer, stacking of inventory in warehouse, maintaining organization and tidiness of the warehouses, loading and unloading trucks, managing the movement of finished goods in bottling warehouse to main warehouse, maintaining stock levels and organization of Tasting Room warehouse. As a member of the Winemaking Team, the Warehouse Supervisor will also participate in winemaking activities, especially those associated with bottling including cleaning of tanks, hoses, equipment, floors, filters, etc.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain the organization, systems, and safety of the warehouses by following procedures.
- Transport finished goods from bottling warehouse to main warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks. This includes finished goods as well as any supplies received.
- Responsible for unloading and stacking/organizing/ putting away packaging goods, dry goods, and other winery shipments.
- Verifying purchase orders and ensuring accuracy of shipments and receivables.
- Performing daily inspections for safety, cleanliness, and supply levels.
- Stack "mixed pallets" by hand for special orders.
- Manage usable/broken pallet inventories, slip sheet inventories, stretch wrap inventories, and tape inventories.
- Work with Production Office Manager to coordinate wine orders shipped to wholesalers.
- Assist in unloading general supplies and equipment and placement in warehouse.
- Cellar Assistant duties such as cleaning after bottling and helping in general winemaking when needed.
- Additional duties, as assigned by the Management.
Job Requirements
- Experience working in a commercial warehouse and forklift certification.
- Willing to work in a fast paced environment and with a proven track record of safety and good organization skills.
- Must possess diligent attention to detail.
- Must be able to repetitively lift items up to 50 pounds.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to be insured to drive Winery vehicles.
- Due to the nature of our business, must be at least 21 years of age.

This is a full time, position with benefits. Typical schedule will be Monday-Friday but is dependent on time year and work load.
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
This is a physical job in a winery/production setting that will require long periods of standing, walking, lifting, climbing ladders, operating heavy machinery and the ability to observe others and the work environment.
