Job Description
This entry level position is responsible for operating various machines on the Oliver Winery bottling line. Part-time bottling staff enjoy detail oriented work while maintaining high quality standards and efficient bottling operations. With detailed, on the job training, this position will participate in daily bottling activities. As a member of our winemaking team, part-time bottling staff work under the direct supervision of the Cellar Master or Bottling Line Supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities 
• Participates in setup and cleanup of bottling line.
• Performs cleaning and sterilization operations as directed.
• Responsible on a given day for operation of a particular part of bottling equipment which could include:
o Operating Labeler
o Operating Capsuler
o Operating Case Packer
o Operating Carton Sealer
o Operating Carton Labeler
o Operating Palletizer
o Operating Forklift
• During Bottling, this position is largely a quality control position responsible for the correct outcome of the machine that is being operated.
• Assist in preventative maintenance of machines, trouble shooting, reporting operation issues, cleaning.
• Performs winemaking work orders as needed including cleaning tanks, performing filtrations, wine movements, etc.

Job Requirements
• Minimum required education: High School Diploma.
• Ability to work on feet for extended periods.
• Ability to climb ladders comfortably.
• Ability to lift 50 or more lbs. 
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work as part of a team to accomplish well defined goals. 
• Enjoyment of physical, detailed work.

Position is part-time, hourly. Pay range for this position is $12.00-$14.00/hour depending on experience, mastery of machines/skills and overall performance. Training is on the job and ongoing.

Schedule is typically Tuesday-Thursday with varying shifts depending on the season and wine production needs. Applicant must have availability between 6a.m. and 8pm on those days.
