Fast growing wine and beverage distribution business based in Michigan is looking for a knowledgeable and passionate Sales Consultant for the Metropolitan Detroit area. We are a dynamic distributor with an ever expanding portfolio. Previous wine sales experience is highly preferred for this excellent existing territory. Candidates would preferably have a strong wine knowledge and the ability to learn and sell our entire portfolio. Excellent communication skills, self-motivated and highly organized individuals only. This position requires selling to both existing retail and restaurants accounts, as well as continually opening new accounts, and will report directly to the Managing Partner - Sales.
Successful candidate will have:
• Reliable car, cell phone, computer, and printer etc.
• Must be willing to work odd hours-including weekends-for special events, supplier wine dinners, in store tastings, etc.
• Attendance at monthly sales meetings
• Ability to provide marketing and training support as required for customers
• Picking up and delivering orders if needed; and able to lift 40 pounds
• Strong passion for wine
• Solid follow up skills and team-player committed to Company goals
