Job Description:
Represent our company in the presentation of fine wine to restaurants and retailers in assigned territory. Acquire and demonstrate wine knowledge and effectively present products to accounts. Promote brands; manage growth of accounts and expansion of business to meet goals. Provide various reports as required, attend and participate in general sales meetings and training programs. Demonstrate integrity and professionalism in all actions, adhering to company values. Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Successful wholesale wine distribution sales experience or wine producer or importer sales experience is a strict requirement. Must exhibit a positive, “can do” attitude with strong goal orientation. Act with professionalism and integrity at all times. Demonstrate time management skills and discipline to get the job done. Communicate with clarity and consistency. Create good working relationships with internal employees: customer service, credit, etc. Cultivate strong supplier relationships, be resourceful – think of new and unique ideas and ways to succeed, creative in marshalling resources, materials, etc. Exhibit strong follow through on commitments does what he/she says will do. Must be able to lift 40 pounds and have a clean driving record, reliable transportation, and prepared to work on evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Salary Information:
Existing sales routes with solid sales numbers. Aggressive Commission-based salary plus benefits and expense support.
