Total Wine & More is seeking a motivated entry-level individual to join our Market Management team! The Market Management team handles aspects of buying, supply chain, and accounting for Total Wine & More. The Sr. Specialist, Supply Chain will assist with wine, beer and spirits ordering for our stores. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to our complex business while putting your analytical skills to work!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supply Chain 
    o Resolution of Vendor Service Issues
    o Respond to inquiries regarding supplier product availability and costs
• Buying 
    o Monitor and manage Buy-In Discount chart, to calculate/plan vendor purchases based on savings
    o Communicate with stores and respond to diverse inquiries
    o Communicate with external supplier partners to facilitate efficient operations and problem resolution
    o Collaborate with other departments on cross functional projects and problem solving
• Accounting 
    o Create and Edit POs for vendors
    o Conduct E-Crosschecks for vendor invoices
    o Prepare and update weekly vendor reports
• Administrative 
    o Schedule and prepare materials and reports for Vendor Meetings

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Experience, Skills and Education:
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both oral and written
• Ability to build effective relationships with business partners and interface with cross-functional teams
• Ability to deal successfully with complexities of a rapidly expanding organization
• Must be able to exercise independent judgment and decision-making skills
• Solid arithmetic skills 
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills
• Detail oriented
• Must be proficient in Microsoft applications with particular strength in Excel, Word and Outlook
• Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
• Highly organized, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize efficiently
• Must be at least 21 years of age

Preferred Experience, Skills and Education:
• 4 Year degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Supply Chain or related field preferred 
• 1+ years’ work experience preferred 
• Advanced Excel Skills are desirable 
• Experience in a high throughput, fast paced work environment a plus
• Experience in retail supply chain management or purchasing a plus
