Essential Functions:
Business Analysis and Project Management
• Work with business stakeholders and end users to gather functional and non-functional requirements and to develop and document technical solutions to business problems
• Liaise between business stakeholders and the delivery team to ensure the acceptance criteria for the solutions are met
• Participate in design/requirements review meetings, daily stand-ups, grooming sessions and other Scrum ceremonies with the delivery team
• Coordinate application design sessions, driving stakeholders to make sound business and technical decisions
• Ability to manage changing priorities and plan effectively in order to meet deadlines.
• Guide and coordinate vendor activities and deliverables and ensure accuracy, high quality, and adherence to standards
Application/Systems Support
• Diagnose and triage issues to identify and articulate the customer, business impact and priority
• Troubleshoot complex issues and coordinate with business and technical teams to drive issues to resolution while meeting agreed upon SLAs
• Document incident summaries and provide clear, supporting data and analysis
• Perform technical analysis using monitoring tools and querying to troubleshoot issues, identify root cause, and execute maintenance operations
• Identify and document SOPs for maintenance tasks
• Manage incidents throughout software development lifecycle; escalate issues appropriately and act as escalation support
• On-call rotation support for critical system issues on an as needed basis
Application Knowledge
• Develop deep expertise in complex application functionality
• Understand interdependencies between various custom applications
• Serve as a go-to application subject matter expert for others’ questions
• Act as System Administrator(managing new users, updating permissions, adding new attributes)
• Coordinate new user and existing user training
Organization and Documentation
• Create detailed business/functional requirements and user stories, release notes, business and functional requirements documents, use cases, and test scripts using JIRA or other tool
• Ensure project documents are complete, thorough, accurate, current and stored appropriately
• Provide project and story status at the daily stand-up or other project review meeting
• Maintain project plans and task lists for self in an organized fashion
• Maintain system documentation for new processes/methods
Customer Satisfaction
• Communicate project status and application issues to necessary stakeholders and supervisor
• Communicate effectively with customers to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions
• Seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen relationships
• Manage customer expectations effectively
• Provide agreed upon service level of production system support
You should have:
• Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university in Business, Computer Science, Technology or related field
• 5 years of business analysis and requirements gathering experience for one or more software development project(s)
• A BA (Business Analyst) certification is highly preferred
• PMP certification is preferred but not required
Experience is important. To set you apart:
• Knowledge of and experience with agile methodologies (Specifically Scrum and Kanban) is a plus
• Experience with relational databases and SQL is preferred
• Prior experience with a Retail organization in a IT/Business support role is highly preferred
• Prior practical or educational experience in Marketing is a plus
• Experience using monitoring tools like Splunk is a plus
• Experience working with data feeds and ETL tools highly preferred
