Job Description 
Benton Wood Products, a subsidiary of Independent Stave Company, is now hiring for a variety of manufacturing roles for our new, state of the art, stave mill facility in Benton, KY area. We seek highly motivated and self-driven individuals to perform a variety of tasks needed to supply white oak staves for manufacturing white oak barrels for the wine and spirits industry. We provide competitive pay and benefits including opportunities for piece rate or production based pay.
Current Shifts Available
1st Shift: Mon-Friday

Essential Functions 
  • To manufacture white oak staves according to customer specifications
  • Safely operate equipment used in the various manufacturing processes 
  • Working with co-workers and supervisors in a cooperative and respectful manner
  • Dependable and have excellent attendance
  • Responsible for keeping work areas clean, orderly, and free of hazards.
  • Ability to work in a variety of body positions; bending, stooping, standing and the ability to have coordinated movements of pulling, pushing, grasping, reaching, and bilateral arm movements.
  • Standing for prolonged periods of time
  • Willing to work overtime and some weekends as needed
