Holeman and Finch Bottle Shop, winner of Best Boutique Liquor and Wine Shop in Creative Loafing, is seeking a Wine Sales Concierge.
As the Wine Sales Concierge, you will play an extremely important role. You will create and maintain a database of sales leads by:
- Cultivating relationships with collectors and cellar owners by regularly reaching out and offering opportunities for acquisition.
- Creating opportunities to expand market share by building new relationships.
- Supporting marketing and outreach efforts and offering input and suggestions.
- Becoming active in the local business community and developing rapport within that community.
- Interacting with guests and colleagues in a positive, upbeat manner, process retail transactions, stock shelves, assist with backroom projects and assignments as requested, and drive sales while delivering outstanding hospitality and service.
Education and Experience Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 3+ years of hospitality and/or retail experience required
- Wine Certifications (i.e. CMS, WSET, CSW or Certified Sommelier) preferred, but not required
- Spirits knowledge a plus
- Working knowledge of Microsoft, Word, Outlook 365 and Excel

The shop sells many of the exquisite wines, spirits, beers and cocktail mixers that are offered at Restaurant Eugene and Holeman and Finch Public House. The bottle shop is more than a “liquor store”. We offer a number of premier services including: Personal concierge ordering, private consultations, cellar-stocking and spirit/wine-focused educational classes as well as the selling of vintage cocktail tools and accessories. Experienced bartenders and wine specialists are on-hand daily to offer customized wine pairing suggestions, as well as guidance for preparing ambrosial mixed drinks or wine pairings at home.
