Retail Sales Associate (Wine Jobs: Wine Retail & Sommelier)

·         Hourly + Commission (TBD)

·         Knowledge of wine (you will be tested)

·         2-3 years retail selling experience required

·         Tuesday – Saturday workdays

·         20-40 hrs/week depending on seasonality, workload

·         Administration skills, from constant use of email, Microsoft Word/Excel, to entry-level Website work is a REQUIREMENT

 

 

Retail Responsibilities

·         Receive inventory, ensuring proper items, vintages, costs, quantities; input into POS

·         Proper POS labeling

·         Tasting with vendors

·         Creation of POS labels

·         Proper placement of wines on shelfs

·         Generation of promotions/incentives for sales

·         Create a VIP list of “whales” whom you correspond with personally for big-ticket transactions

 

ENO Responsibilities

·         Working with management for placement of wines within the ENO system

·         Creation of all ENO labels for new wines (or new vintages)

·         Input of all new wines (or new vintages) into the ENO software

 

Wine Club Responsibilities

·         Receive all wine club orders from members; coordinate with Rob for ordering

·         Pick/pack all orders for member pickup

·         Ongoing communication with members

·         Generation of promotions/incentives/programs to grow membership

 

Vino Venue Management Team

·         Participate actively on the Vino Venue management team, helping to make decisions which impact us company-wide

Hourly pay plus sales incentives. Hourly rate of pay depends on experience.
