Description
The Food & Beverage Assistant Dining Analyst will supervise administrative, reporting, and other operational support functions for the estate Food & Beverage department. Primary responsibilities will include: coordinate payroll and KRONOS workforce management functions; provide leadership with support with labor and performance management duties; assist with department financial reporting and reconciliation; special projects and requests as assigned; and daily supervision of F&B administrative team. In addition, this position will provide general assistance and support for leadership, the department, and company as required.
Requirements
1. High school diploma required. Additional education, training, and/or certification(s) preferred.
2. At least three (3) years or related administrative, accounting, and/or reporting experience. Equivalent combination of education/experience considered. Preferred candidate will have knowledge of F&B operations to include payroll/accounting.
3. Demonstrated commitment to delivery of world class internal/external guest services; proven leadership skills; ability to build/develop/motivate teams.
4. Advanced proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint; Quark preferred; quickly acquires knowledge of Biltmore systems, protocols, products/services, and history.
5. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills; conveys information clearly, concisely, effectively; solid public speaking/presentation skills; interprets/explains technical information well; professionally handles guest service recovery situations.
6. Excellent planning, time/project management, and organizational skills; keen attention to detail with focus on quality and service; prioritizes work, adapts, multi-tasks.
7. Proactive, exercises good judgment; problem solves; maintains confidentiality.
8. Builds/maintains positive working relationships throughout department/company.
Physical Requirements:
1. Must be able to work in an office environment.
2. Must be able to climb stairs to access historic buildings/locations.
3. Must be able to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
4. Ability to travel to different locations across the estate as needed.
