Sr. HR Manager and Sales Recruiter (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

The Sr. HR Manager and Sales Recruiter provides support for overall business objectives through the responsible and timely execution of hiring strategies and recruitment for Sales; delivers HR services; provides the highest level of customer service; and demonstrates integrity, credibility, and confidentiality in all areas of their job.

Essential Functions:

• Utilize innovative recruiting methods to identify and attract top-performing talent for Sales positions

• Strategically source active and passive candidates by using social media, internet, job boards, job postings, referrals, networking and any other resources to find potential candidates

• Evaluate candidate qualifications and strengths and conduct interviews

• Partner with Executives and Sales Managers to match the right candidate to the position and develop offer details

• Stay informed of competitive market intelligence; understand sourcing tools, trends and technologies

• Facilitate the pre-employment process including offer letter preparation, drug and background screening and orientation packet preparation 

• Conduct new hire orientations, including schedule coordination with hiring manager, conducting new hire presentations and post-hire follow up

• Assist VP, HR in other areas of HR support for the Sales function, including talent review, organizational development and engagement initiatives

• Must be able to manage a demanding workload with challenges of competing priorities

• Must maintain highest level of confidentiality and protection of employee and company related data/information

• Requires strong attention to detail, and passion and respect for accuracy and timeliness

• Must be a strong team player

Working Conditions:

• Climate controlled office environment

• May require extended work hours during evenings and weekends

• Ability to travel by all means of transportation required

Physical Requirements:

• Requires long periods of sitting

• Requires long periods of computer use

• Ability to operate a motor vehicle

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

• 5+ years of professional HR or Sales experience, alcohol and/or spirits beverage industry preferred

• Thorough knowledge of recruitment/staffing required and additional knowledge of employee development a plus 

• Must have a strong understanding of sales functions and be able to impact the strategic success of these teams as a business partner

• Knowledge of applicable state and federal employment and labor laws and governmental compliance requirements 

• Excellent verbal/written communications, presentation and public speaking skills

• Highly organized and attentive to details

• Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality

• Advanced computer proficiency (MS Office), experience with HRIS and on-line recruitment systems 

• Possess a strong team orientation and willingness to assist in any areas outside of the normal scope of this position

• Strong customer / business solutions oriented perspective

• Available for business travel (approximately 30%)

• Able to operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid driver’s license
