Located north of Atlanta, with a sweeping panorama of the North Georgia foothills, Chateau Elan is both striking in its décor and its gracious Southern hospitality. From our award winning winery, to our European health spa, to the lush fairways of our golf courses, we are committed to providing impeccable service.
We connect with our guests by providing highly designed, innovative and locally focused food and beverage experiences for each guest or event. The perfect candidate is passionate about service and creating custom experiences for each guest or event.
To deliver the type of outstanding experience we offer our guests, we need remarkable individuals who are committed to making a difference. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering results in a high-volume and fine-dining restaurant environment. Luxury hotel experience is preferred, but not required.
The SOUS CHEF will report to the Executive Chef, and will be responsible for menu execution (production, plating and presentation), ordering, and providing leadership by example. The SOUS CHEF will assist in menu planning and be responsive to the procedural and production changes implemented by the Executive Chef.

Success in the SOUS CHEF role will be measured by your ability to:
- Demonstrate excellent culinary skills by cooking delicious and beautifully presented food, while using the very best of farm-to-table ingredients.
- Develop and mentor internal talent into the next generation of Chateau Elan leadership, by providing strong leadership and championing Chateau Elan culture with our associates, guests and the community we serve.
- Achieve profitability goals by driving revenues and controlling costs.
Required Experience
Qualified SOUS CHEF candidates will have:
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years of kitchen management experience in a high-volume, fine dining or events venue. Again, luxury hotel experience preferred, but not required.
- Professional appearance and presentation.

- Knowledge of and skill in computer software, including MS Word, Outlook and Excel.
- Ability to obtain and maintain ServSafe certification.
We offer a competitive compensation package; including 401 (k), medical and dental insurance, Employee Assistance Program, and additional wellness and recreational benefits.
