POSITION PURPOSE:
This position requires a great deal of attention to detail. Assignments must be done within the specified time constraints. This person must have the ability to communicate, take initiative, teamwork, and be prompt. People skills, internal/external customer service, and communication skills are mandatory. Ability to communicate with people within the department is necessary. Multitasking, clear penmanship (so work may be interpreted correctly), regular attendance, getting along with others, detail orientation, working a full shift, and the ability to work in a fast paced constantly changing environment are required. This position also requires standing or walking for long periods of time, as well as pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying up to 20-50 lbs., bending and twisting.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

65% Clearing and setting tables, assisting servers at all times especially with water and bread service, setting up preparation areas such as stocking side stations with linens, polished glassware and silverware. Assist in folding napkins for service.
25% Cleaning side stations such as bread bins, refrigerators and coffee area. Maintaining coffee and iced-t throughout service as well as loading bread into warmers at the beginning of lunch and dinner shifts.
10% Ensure linens are brought back to linen department several times during shift.
